04.05.2007 creACTive is non-governmental organization for promotion of creativity and active citizenship of young people. The main aim of the organization is to assist the personal development of young people through engaging them in non-formal education on a variety of themes.
The organization mainly works on organizing workshops, local initiatives, seminars, training courses, camps, volunteer actions and other activities for young people. One of the braches of the organization is Model of United Nations, which involves high school students into simulation of the work of United Nations, giving them an opportunity to practise their English and debate skills. The organization actively works on both local and national level; and it is also involved in implementation of international projects.

One of creACTive’s main aims is to promote and encourage intercultural cooperation among the young people from Macedonia and the other countries from Europe. The work of creACTive is based on the principles of non-formal education, learning-by-experience and intercultural learning. It tends to contribute to the development of civil society in Macedonia, with a special accent to young people’s place in the social events and processes. We expect that the activities of creACTive will result in development of creative young people involved in the process of decision – making in their local communities.
