Network of East-West Women
The Network of East-West Women links women across national and regional boundaries to share resources, knowledge and skills. NEWW's mission is to support the growth of grassroots women's movements in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe, the Newly Independent States and the Russian Federation (CEE/NIS). With members in more than 30 countries, NEWW is among the largest and most respected networks in CEE/NIS, and is a trusted source of expertise, resources and information about gender in democratizing societies. By supporting the formation and sustainability of independent women's movements, NEWW helps women and women's NGOs influence policy regarding women's lives.

AWID (Association for Women's Rights in Development)
The Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID) is an international membership organization connecting, informing and mobilizing people and organizations committed to achieving gender equality, sustainable development and women's human rights. Our goal is to cause policy, institutional and individual change that will improve the lives of women and girls everywhere. We do this by facilitating ongoing debates on fundamental and provocative issues as well as by building the individual and organizational capacities of those working for women's empowerment and social justice.
A dynamic network of women and men around the world, AWID members are researchers, academics, students, educators, activists, business people, policy-makers, development practitioners, funders, and more. Association for Progressive Communication Women's Network Support Program
The Association for Progressive Communications Women's Network Support Program (APC WNSP) supports women networking for social change. The aim of the APC WNSP is to promote gender equity in the design, implementation, and use of information and communicCommunications ation technologies (ICT) - with special focus on inequities based on women's social or ethnic background - through the provision of research, training, information, and support activities in the field of ICT policy, skills-sharing in the access and use of ICT, and women's network-building.

Building Gender Considerations into ICT Evaluation Work
Building Gender Considerations into ICT Evaluation Work introduces the Association for Progressive Communications (APC) Women's Program and provides gender analysis methods and tools in evaluating the role and use of ICTs from a gender perspective.

Women'space: Feminist e-zine and Women's Internet Campaign
Women'space is designed to be a place where women activists share stories of adventures in cyberspace and explore how the Internet is being used as a powerful tool for women. It is also a campaign to ensure that women, girls, and women's groups have equal access, equal participation, and an equal voice in communication technologies. The website features the Canadian Women's Internet Directory; the Women'space's E-Quality project, which includes links and bibliographies of ICT research materials on the Internet; the Women's Internet Campaign, which includes a mailing list and a women's Internet course; a magazine; and, a toolkit of internet tools for personal use or for building and managing nonprofit websites.

WEDO - Women's Environment & Development Organization
WEDO is an international advocacy network that seeks to increase the power of women worldwide as policymakers in governance and in policymaking institutions, forums and processes, at all levels, to achieve economic and social justice, a peaceful and healthy planet and human rights for all.

UNIFEM
UNIFEM is the women's fund at the United Nations. It provides financial and technical assistance to innovative programmes and strategies that promote women's human rights, political participation and economic security. Within the UN system, UNIFEM promotes gender equality and links women's issues and concerns to national, regional and global agendas by fostering collaboration and providing technical expertise on gender mainstreaming and women's empowerment strategies. UNIFEM's mandate is to:
  • upport innovative and experimental activities benefiting women in line with national and regional priorities.
  • Serve as a catalyst, with the goal of ensuring the appropriate involvement of women in mainstream development activities, as often as possible at the pre-investment stage.
  • Play an innovative and catalytic role in relation to the United Nations system of development cooperation.

BRIDGE Institute of Development Studies
BRIDGE supports your gender mainstreaming efforts by bridging the gaps between theory, policy and practice with accessible gender information
  • BRIDGE was set up in 1992 as a specialised gender and development information service with the support of Member organisations of the OECD/DAC WID Expert Group
  • BRIDGE is now an established non-profit making unit specializing in gender and development based at the Institute of Development Studies in the UK

WISE (Women's International Studies Europe)
WISE is a feminist studies association, formally constituted in 1990. WISE stands for: the promotion of women's studies research, teaching and publication in Europe, and the defence of women's studies on a European and international level in all appropriate institutions and organizations.
WISE has developed a considerable number of projects to achieve its goals and is supported by the European Commission, national ministeries and national women's studies associations. The European association is well established and has national contacts in almost every European country. The Council of Europe and the UN recognise WISE as a Non-Governmental Organisation.

The Network Women’s Program
The Network Women’s Program (NWP) works to promote the advancement of women’s human rights, gender equality, and empowerment as an integral part of the process of democratization. The program operates worldwide as a consultative and operational program, working directly with and providing technical assistance to entities inside the Soros foundations network on gender issues.

GenderIT GenderIT.org emerged from the Association for Progressive Communications Women's Networking Support Programme's advocacy work in information and communications technologies (ICTs). The need to have examples of national policy, gender-sensitive language, tools for lobbying, and an understanding of the impact of poor or positive policy all within easy access has been expressed by ICT advocates and policy makers alike.
