Integra Launches Second Phase of �I Decide for Myself� Project

Supported by International Organization for Migration � IOM, Government of Finland and Advisory Office for Good Governance - Office of the Kosovo Prime Minister, INTEGRA NGO, in coming days will launch the second phase of project �I Decide For My Self�, in seven main regions of Kosova.

Partners of this project are primary schools of selected municipalities for implementation - Ferizaj, Gjakova, Peja, Prizren, Vushtrri, Gjilan and Mitrovica, while target groups are pupils of chosen primary schools, age 8-14.

INTEGRA in cooperation with IOM, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, the Prime Minister�s Office - The Office of Good Governance and many other local NGOs, during the period of 2005-2006 has implemented a six-month project which included a series of awareness-raising activities.

INTEGRA sees this year�s project as an opportunity to continue working on awareness-raising of the Kosovar citizens regarding Counter Trafficking.

For this phase, INTEGRA plans to canalize its work towards activities with children/ adolescents of primary schools of different selected municipalities, in rural areas or suburbs of cities which are included in the project.

Work with children of rural and suburb areas schools selected for the project will be based in Open Talks and Attractive Workshops with constant concentration on their awareness-raising regarding Counter Trafficking.

The activities which will be implemented will be in a �grass root level�, with a tendency for them to be as opened as possible.

The team of INTEGRA consists of its implementing staff of the project as a consistent part, and an actor/ singer (a famous person) that will have a leading role in attending the Open Talks and Attractive Workshops.

For the activity of Open Talks and Attractive Workshops, for the participants � apart form the brochure INTEGRA will also print two handbooks; one for human trafficking and the other one for Leadership.
