Sarajevo: AIESEC "Balkan Conference"

AIESEC student association will organize, May 18-21, in Sarajevo, a conference named "Balkan Conference".

The primary goal of the project is to connect students from the Balkans area into a single AIESEC network for cooperation, exchange of experiences and planning of future projects, as well as more intensive inclusion of youth in social and economic environment.

The organizers plan for about 60 AIESEC members from all Balkan countries to take part in the conference.

The "Balkan Conference" will focus on the topics of cultural understanding, entrepreneurship, managerial skills and conflict resolution, information and society, global trends in the Balkans and leadership, activism and applied knowledge.

Also, the Conference should contribute to the development of high school education in teh sense of gaining theoretical and practical knowledge and exchange of experiences.

AIESEC is the largest student organization of professional, non-profit and apolitical character, gathering more than 50,000 members in 100 countries all over the world.

AIESEC Bosnia and Herzegovina recognizes the strong need to organize a conference with participation of AIESEC members from the neighbouring countries in the Balkans.
