Seminar on LGBTIQ Activism and Human Rights

The Q Association organizes the second Seminar on LGBTIQ Activism and Human Rights. The three-day seminar is organized exclusively for the members of LGBTIQ population in B&H and the region. The seminar will take place on April 13-15, 2007.

The seminar will discuss the basic terms, LGBTIQ activism in the country and abroad, gender activisms, discrimination and violence, human rights and other relevant issues/needs of the LGBTIQ population. The methodology of work will be interactive and will include creative workshops.

The organizers shall cover full costs for all participants. We invite all interested persons to complete the application form.

The number of participants is restricted (15 from B&H and additional five from the region). The process of selection will take into consideration the equal representation among different parts of B&H.

The deadline for application expires on Monday, April 2. All accepted participants will be informed by April 5, 2007.
