Starting with March 2007, the Milieukontakt initiated its regional programme �Joint Efforts towards Sustainable Future for Western Balkans�.

The programme promotes the application of the Green Agenda method, which aims to bring together civic organizations, citizens, local authorities and the business sector to develop common strategy and action plan for community development based on natural and cultural heritage.

The first promotional workshop will take place in Bitola, March 23-25, at the �DeNiro� Hotel.

The workshop aims to promote the project and proposed activities; present analysis of the legal framework to which Green Agenda will have to relate during the implementation of activities; and, prepare SWOT analysis of environmental organizations in Macedonia and assess the needs of the lobal communities.
