Visa Abolition Action

The European Liberal Youth (LYMEC) holds a street action today, February 13, aimed at abolition of visa regimes in Europe and promotion of free movement of people.
The action will take place in front of Austrian Embassy. The activist shall, as announced, form symbolic queues with the names of countries the citizens of which can’t travel freely around Europe. Later in the day, LYMEC announced, representatives of the campaign shall distribute leaflets and talk to the citizens in Knez Mihajlova Street and in front of Belgrade City Library. The "No Visas, Europe is Our Home" Campaign aims to abolish the visa regimes in Europe and to secure the right of free movement for tourists and students in Europe. Similar actions will be organized in 25 European cities in 22 countries. |
