CRCA to Open Office in Kosovo(a)

The Children's Human Rights Centre of Albania-CRCA, a major children rights organisation, announced today that it has started the procedures to open a branch of the organisation in Prishtina, the capital of UN administered province of Kosovo(a).

"I'm pleased to announce today”, said Altin Hazizaj, Director of CRCA, “that after so many years working in Kosovo(a) with other partners, we at CRCA have decided to open our Kosovo(a) office. Our new office will aim to work with all local and international partners in order to improve children's rights situation for all children of Kosovo(a)."

The new branch of CRCA will be called Children's Human Rights Centre of Kosovo(a) and will work based on the 10 year expertise of CRCA on lobby, advocacy, policy making and capacity building.

"We have seen during the last few years that children's rights in Kosovo(a) have made a considerable progress”, said Hazizaj, “but since we share the same culture and language as Kosovan people we want to be able to advance children's rights in both sides of the border. We want to assist the Government and NGO's in Kosovo(a) by providing them the best strategies and approaches for the implementation of CRC."
