FOSIM Economic Reform Programme: Selection of Participants for Roma Trainer Project

The Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia, in cooperation with the BCC – Business Cooperation Centre, announces the public competition for selection of participants in the “Training for Roma Trainers” project, implemented under the Economic Reform Programme.

This project offers a possibility for Roma people to participate in a number of training-of-trainers programmes, designed to increase the skills on eight topics: motivation skills, communication skills, presentation skills, facilitation, time management and planning, analysis of training needs, monitoring and evaluation techniques, report writing.
The trainings will take place from March to July 2007. The project aims to increase the number of Roma trainers prepared to give training in the areas of economic development and entrepreneurship in Macedonia.

The competition is open for citizens of Roma ethnic background; older than 30 years of age; have completed at least secondary school (economy or law).

Priority shall be given to applicants that have past experience of working in NGOs; and have experience in traning programmes.

The applicants should submit: Curriculum Vitae (in Macedonian); copy of the diploma for completed secondary or higher education; letter of motivation.
The application deadline expires on January 30, 2007
