Tune in on International Migrant’s Day

December 18, the international advocacy and resource centre on human rights of migrant workers invites you to participate in its Radio 18-12 initiative.

The initiative is the first-ever global one-day radio show connecting migrant communities worldwide, to highlight their concerns and celebrate their achievement.

Radio 18-12 kicks off with broadcasts in Australia and will move across time zones to reach the west coast of the Americas.

Radio 18-12 intends to give extra impetus to the activities of International Migrant’s Day. It encourages broadcasters and migrant organizations to contribute and share with others their existing audio material on migration to the initiative’s web-site and contribute to the December 18 global migration broadcast marathon.

Radio 18-12 cannot happen without your contributions. So, if you are a broadcaster, if you organize activities or are interested in volunteering for Radio 18-12, contact the initiative.

The full text of the invitation with the contact e-mail addresses are attached to this article.
