CP’s Guide to Visas
In strive for freedom of movement, The Citizens Pact for SEE launched the Visa Abolishment Campaign in year 2002. Our persistent fight for cooperation without borders, easier and friendlier travel for experiencing our region and Europe is for years a large issue in the Western Balkans having its significance in the context of the EU integration processes as well. The existing visa regimes are especially effecting the younger generations in a very negative way. Most young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania have never left their countries. Those who are expected to build a new and better Balkans are simply not allowed to see the neighbouring functioning societies. The years of campaigning, with thousands of signed petitions, attractive street actions and tee parties at border crossings, lobby and advocacy activities, researches, seminars, conferences and a book with stories from the visa queues, have resulted in the first ever list of all necessary documents, contacts and other information regarding to European Visa procedures for the citizens of the Western Balkans region. The potential travellers from Albanian, B&H, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia are now only two clicks away from all Visa Requirements, and should only visit the www.needvisa.net web-site and find all information required. |
