Regional NGO Fair - Strumica

The Foundation Open Society Institute Macedonia (FOSIM) and the NGO Support Centre � Strumica, on the behalf of the Civic Platform � Macedonia, organize the Regional NGO Fair in Strumica, November 24-25, 2006.

The Fair aims to introduce the public to the activities of the civic associations and organizations, create a space for exchange of experience and increase international cooperation through coordination and networking.

The Fair will take place November 24-25, 2006, at the Army Hall in Strumica. All civic associations from Macedonia and the region are eligible for participation.

The regional NGO Fair includes three components:

Forum activities;
Exhibition;
Social-cultural events.

FORUM AKTIVITIES
The Forum segment will include six public debates (Panels, round-table discussiona, etc.), which will discuss a variety of issues, with emphasis on cross-border cooperation. With that goal in mind, all interested civil organizations are invited to submit their discussion topic by November 15, 2006.

IZLOZBEN DEL
The Regional NGO Fair provides and opportunity to the participants to present their organizations and activities through rental of stands. The rental fee is 500 denars (for a basic unit of 4 square metres).

SOCIO-KULTURNI NASTANI
Five social and cultural events will be organized for the duration of the Fair, based on the creativity of participating civil organizations, dedicated to promotion of cultural heritage and values.

The Application Deadline expires on November 15, 2006, at the NGO Support Centre, ul. Bratstvo edinstvo broj 29, P.fah 192, Strumica.
