Training in Writing Proposals for EU

The B&H Civil Society Resource Centre, the EC Delegation to B&H and �Kronauer Consulting� company organize training for NGOs, aimed to raise the capacity of the participants to understand, design and write project proposals for EU.

The training aims to increase the quality of applications submitted for EU financing, and to prepare the actors in B&H civil society for the successful �pull-out� of EU funds that is expected during the pre-accession process.

After the very successful workshop of highest quality held in Sarajevo, the Delegation of the European Commission decided to support three two-day workshops: (1) Tuzla, October 19-20, 2006, co-organized with VESTA and Referent Group Tuzla; (2) Sanski Most, October 30-31, 2006, co-organized with Forum Sanski Most; (3) Mostar, October 25-26, 2006, co-organized with OKC Abrasevic (the Mostar training dates are subject to additional confirmation and publication on www.civilnodrustvo.ba).

The organizers hope that the NGOs will recognize the importance of this type of education and send their representatives (preferably, personnel with some past experience in project writing).

No participation fee shall be charged, but the costs of travel and accommodation will fall on the participants. The workshop will be held in B/S/H language.
