Tutto Completo Hopes the “Motley Slap in the Face” will Stimulate the New Government

“Tuto Completo”, the Kakanj based NGO that is known to the public for its role in the “Motley Revolution” in front of the Building of the B&H Presidency in Sarajevo of two weeks ago, finally spoke out on the reasons and goals of its action. The organization hopes that its “motley slap in the face” will stimulate the newly elected officials and modify the Constitutional changes as well as the educational, police and other reforms in B&H.

In a public statement released on Wednesday, October 11, Tutto Completo said that the creation of the new Constitution, special conditions for handicapped and disabled, healthcare and social care for children, new legislation on animation and affirmation of the youth as a talented force that intends to leave the country, complete and implement the Law on Gender Equality, greater care for disabled, demobilized soldiers, the hungry, pensioners and the Roma population in B&H are the main goals of the organization.

"The recent events in Hungary demonstrate that our “paint and fist-fighting work” is far cheaper and painless variation of (r)evolution, having in mind the negative charge in the society and the rising number of discontent and hungry actors that live on the social minimum”, says the Organization.

Tutto Completo demands from the newly elected government to revive the use of natural energy, stricter environmental control and legislation and review of positions on construction of hydro and thermo-electric plants in the country.

The organization expects deals and agreements on joint action to be made between the networks of the nongovernmental organizations, which would include all active organizations, women and student associations and as many young actors in the process of finding solutions for the problems of their constituencies.

"We hope that the rise of the positive and true political forces, who will recognize this historic moment for the benefit of modern Bosnia and Herzegovina. We also hope that the key project, “SOS No sikiriki Kakanj”, submitted to the OHR on August 21, 2006, will be approved for assistance by the EU. This project consists of 17 sub-projects, three of which are implemented on national level.

”The Motley (R)Evolution is unstoppable and it follows the policies of the European Union that puts the emphasis on the need to find solutions to the accumulated problems in Bosnia and Hercegovina”, says “Tutto Completo”.
