Megjasi Opens Special Phone for Contributions

On September 27, 2006, the First Children Embassy in the World �Megjasi� opened its special phone number for citizens� contribution. The line operates under the auspices of the �T-Mobile for Macedonia� Foundation.

With each call to 070/14 34 24, the citizens may donate 100 Denars from their T-Mobile phone accounts, thus supporting the activities of Megjasi.

The Megjasi Embassy promotes respect for children rights, children inclusion in education system, fights against the worst forms of child labour, paedophilia, pornography and prostitution; fights against violence (in the family, in school, in the street), takes care for children without parental care after they leave the orphanage or the foster-homes.

The Embassy runs free of charge SOS Phones, psychological counselling office, legal assistance unit and children workshops.

The users of Kosmofon mobile-phone network may make their contributions at 075/141-525.
