Call for Applications: Neum 2006 Regional Radio Festival

SEE Radio Network, the ALTER MEDIA association of local radio stations and the Organization Board of �NEUM 2006�, the Second Regional Radio Festival issued a Call for Application of works for the Second Regional Radio Festival. The Festival will take place in Neum, B&H, October 25-29, 2006.

Applications will be received in four competitive categories:

1. Investigative radio story produced and broadcast between October 1, 2005 and October 1, 2006 (length of programmes: between 3 and 3:30 minutes);
2. Radio Feature of up to 1:30 minutes in length
3. Best identification radio jingle
4. Best commercial radio advertisement

Competition Criteria:

works may be submitted for the four competitive categories by radio stations and/or individual authors, with adequate proof that the applied work was broadcast in the programmes of any radio station from Croatia, B&H, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia and Albania;
The works should be recorded on digital media ( MP3, MD, CD), in stereo. Each work should be submitted separately, with a proper cover that will list the name of the radio stations, the author, length, opening and closing sentence, explanation of the subject topic and the names of people interviewed for the programme;
Participation fee of 100 EUR is charged from each radio station, regardless of the number of of works it submitts for any of the competitive categories; The Fee will be used to cover the costs of accommodation in Neum for two representatives of each radio station.

The works will be reviewed and evaluated by a Jury of the Regional Radio Festival, composed of prominent radio journalists, media and marketing experts from Southeast Europe.

The Deadline for application expires on October 10, 2006.
