The web-site will be edited and updated by the young people from the Foundation’s volunteering office and the Children Parliament of Macedonia, in cooperation with correspondents from all parts of Macedonia.

All institutions, organizations and individuals with interesting information deemed useful for the youth in the country to sent them by mail to maritamk@gmail.com.

At the same time, Marita announced the start of the Photo-Comic Strip Award Competition, which will award works on the topics: “Let the Heart Continue Beating” and “Stop Before You Start”. The Competition aims to promote the practicing of healthy lifestyles (no drugs and other vices) and is supported by SIDA.

Young people between 13 and 19 years of age can apply to the competition. Their works should be sent, in electronic form, to maritamk@gmail.com, or by snail-mail at ul. Drezdenska br.15/3/12 1000 Skopje, RM za Fondacija “Marita”- Makedonija.

The photos should represent a whole unit and to represent a positive youthful image, and the contents should correspond to the two topics listed above. The accompanying text (subtitles) should be submitted together with the photos (each text should be properly marked in order to know to which photos it does relate). The text should be in Macedonian, with exception of words that may be in other languages, in accordance with the general content of the photo-comic strip.

The deadline for application expires on November 24, 2006. The best work will be published in one Macedonian daily and will be used to print the Holiday Season greeting cards for the Foundation.
