Civic Info-Portal ODJEK

The MOST Centre for Cultural Development and Information started its Odjek civic information portal, dedicated to the NGO sector in Montenegro.

The portal was seen as an opportunity for free presentation of views, opinions, exchange of information, commentary and project activities. The portal should contribute, as much as possible, to promotion of activities of the non-governmental sector.

"We decided to undertake this led by our firm belief that the portal will become a source of the missing energy, positive change, progress and democracy”, said MOST in a public statement.

In the foreseeable future, MOST hopes that this project will transform itself into a print or electronic media outlet. The “Odjek” (ECHO) portal is available, since August 22, to all organizations and individuals active in the civil sector. The portal will focus on the topics of EU integrations, sustainable development, human rights and freedoms, as well as daily living issues.

The editorial policy is as open as possible, and the portal will be edited by different NGOs. The simple content management system will allow all persons to post information and update the site, without prior training or preparation.

MOST invites all people and organizations that believe in the project to take active participation as editors, associates, columnists, administrators.
