ÇOHU and Anticorruption Network Reaction on Serious Energy Situation

In an open letter to Kosovo citizens and the Parliament, Organization for Democracy, Anticorruption and Dignity ÇOHU and the Anticorruption Network have reacted on the grave energy situation in Kosovo as well as on other problem which tackle different spheres of public life.

Together with the reaction has also been distributed a list with names and qualifications of Kosovo government persons to show how competent and professional is this government cabinet for the work they are charged with.

According to the abovementioned, frequent power stoppages which Kosovo is facing continuously, are causing great economic damages and depression at the citizens' part. No one so far has given any responsibility for this catastrophic situation and Government hasn't shown any sign of concern for what is happening.

"ÇOHU organization and Anticorruption Network are concerned also for the serious situation in other aspects of public life. Government has failed in building a dignified health system for Kosovo citizen. This Government did not have a single answer for any audition for spending of public money, in which were found heavy violations from high government officials" says the reaction.

"Therefore, Anticorruption Network requests from Kosovo Parliament to finally take the role for what is has been voted and to make government's work evaluation. Kosovo Parliament should establish a commission for investigating violations made by high officials of this Government and to take actions for a way out of this total irresponsibility. Parliament should also establish a distinctive commission for investigating power supply situation and investment in KEK (Kosovo Energy Corporation) in the 7 post-war years" concludes the reaction signed by Organization for Democracy, Anticorruption and Dignity - ÇOHU from Prishtina, “Initiative for Progress” from Ferizaj, “Syri i Vizionit” (Eye of Vision) from Peja and “Fisnikët” organization from Prizren.
