Day of Dialogue with the Youth: Youth, Information and Mobility

The Forum Syd Balkans Programme (FSBP) Montenegro project organizes the Day of Dialogue with the Youth, dedicated to the topic of Youth, Information and Mobility.

The Day of Dialogue will be held on Tivat Riva (the waterfront), July 28, starting at 20:00 hours. It is a final outcome of one-week camps at which the youth from six cities and townships in Montenegro get introduced to the National Youth Action Plan (NPAM) and give their suggestions for its local level implementation. The Youth, Information and Mobility Camp is held in Gornje Morinje, ran by the students of university course in Leadership and Development Work with Youth in Local Communities.

On Dialogue Day, the youth will present their conclusions and proposals on this topic and shall initiate dialogue with representatives of the local community, inform them about NPAM and their views on its local level implementation.

FSBP Montenegro Project follows a strategy of building understanding and support for dialogue between the youth and representatives of the local communities, and to raise the public attention on the importance of existence of documents such as NPAM. This should be achieved through partnership with a variety of NGOs in the region, CSOs and state institutions.

The 2006 Youth Camps � Towards NPAM programme is implemented in cooperation with Montenegro Ministry of Science and Education and UNICEF�s Montenegro Office. The financial support was provided by Swedish SIDA.
