Creation of Sex? of Gender?

Under the auspices of its Awareness: Transgender Rights and Issues, Zenska Soba association published a notebook/exercise book on creation of terms of sex and gender on social and individual levels, titled Creation: of Sex? of Gender?

The questions of sex and gender are reviewed in the fields of legislation, medicine, biology, language, sexuality, education, history, politics, activism and human rights. Gender and sex are analyzed as identity denominators, as forms of self-expression, social constructs, roles and norms, as well as basis for classification, inequality and discrimination.

The book is primarily intended for activists, students, schools, universities, public libraries, civil society networks, relevant institutions and organizations that work in the fields of human, women and LGBTIQ rights in the region.

The project is financed by Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice. The printing was enabled through financial support from Astraea and Q Association�s Heart and Hand Fund.
