Consultation on Education and Small Arms

The South Eastern and Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SEESAC) will organize Consultation Conference on Education and Small Arms tomorrow, Thursday, June 29, at the Metropol Hotel in Belgrade, from 09:00 – 16:00 hours.
The South Eastern and Eastern Europe Clearinghouse for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SEESAC) has a mandate from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe (SCSP) to further support all international and national stakeholders by strengthening national and regional capacity to control and reduce the proliferation and misuse of small arms and light weapons, and thus contribute to enhanced stability, security and development in South Eastern and Eastern Europe. Representatives from the Ministry of Education & Sport, Institute for Improvement of Education, Civic Education professionals, Psychologists/child psychiatrists, Public health personnel (accident & injury), Police involved in schools, Social workers (juvenile justice), UNICEF, ICRC (EHL), OSCE, NPA, NGOs, Representatives from Parents' Associations and Students' Councils will be taking part in the consultation. The purpose of the consultation is to;
