The NGOs received recommendations to organize education and training for diverse target groups of women, especially on violence in the family, and to strengthen the NGO network in Priboj. The media should promote gender equality and programmes that strengthen the role of women in politics and society, while the Municipal Council should provide financial support for activities of the Gender Equality Council and women NGOs that fight for gender equality. It was also recommended to the private sector to encourage the development of private entrepreneurship that offers contents of interest to women, while the political parties were asked to establish Women Forums. |
