A group of students from the "Metodi Mitevski Brico" high school from Delcevo, won the prestigious Platinum Prize Award for best web-site at the Doors to Diplomacy 2006 award competition, organized by the US State Department. The students won this years award in a strong competition of 306 projects from 46 states in the world.

The students: Ana Georgievska (web-master), Elena Georgievska (data manager), Zoran Dimitrovski (assistant manager) and Zikica Pagovski (PR, contact person), working under the leadership of their teacher, Roza Stamenkovska, created the www.fightpoverty.mmbrico.com web-site, that offers education on the issue of child poverty and seeks solutions to thi problem.
The members of the team won a scholarship of 2,000 US Dollars each, as well as diplomas that will assist them in their continued education. The leader of the team will get an award of 500 US Dollars.
The Doors to Diplomacy competition is organized and sponsored by the Global School Net and the US Government. The team from Delcevo shares the 2006 prize with another high school from Florida, US.
