TI's First European Anti-Corruption Conference

The Transparency International Croatia hosts the First European Anti-Corruption Conference of Transparency International that started today on Brioni Islands. The conference, which will be closed on May 28, gathers representatives of national branches of TI from Europe and Central Asia, as well as numerous representatives of the public administration bodies of the Republic of Croatia.
Over 100 representatives from Croatia and abroad participatess in the Conference. Among the activities planned to take place during the three days of the conference, we emphasize the workshop on the UN Anti-Corruption Convention, as well as the workshop on financing of political parties and election campaigns. At the opening ceremony, the participants in the conference will be greeted by Damir Polancec, Vice-President of the Government of Croatia; Vincent Degert, Head of European Commission Delegation to Croatia; and the Head of OSCE Mission to Croatia, Jorge Fuentes.
