HREA Distance Learning Course 3E06: Use of ICTs for Human Rights Work - Advanced course

The HREA invites all interested to apply for its new Distance Learning Course 3E06: Use of Information and Communication Technologies for Human Rights Work. The course will be lead by Frank Elbers.

The advanced course will start on September 20, and will last until December 12, 2006, including 60 hours of reading, on-line working groups, interaction with students and instructor and assignments. The course is based on a participatory, active learning approach, with an emphasis on peer-to-peer learning.

Participants are expected to come to the course with ideas about how their organisation can integrate or further develop the use of ICTs within the organisation. Participants will do the required reading, prepare interim and final assignments and participate in group discussions. Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation upon successful completion of the course. The maximum number of participants is 25.

A more detailed course description, further logistical information, and application forms can be found at: < link http://www.hrea.org/courses/3E.html www.hrea.org/courses/3E>
