Days of the Parliament � Session of the Youth National Parliament

Under the auspices of the Days of the Parliament manifestation, that took place at the Sobranie of the Republic Macedonia last week, the second Session of the Youth National Parliament was held on Thursday, May 17. The Session was dedicated to the topics in the field of economy, quality of living, education and youth participation.

The Youth Parliament, including 120 young people between the ages of 15 and 24, is part of the project for technical support for the youth tolerance campaign, which aims to improve the interethnic understanding and cooperation between the young people in Macedonia.

On a parallel track, also under the manifestation, a painting competition will be organized for elementary schools students. The best works will receive awards, and an exhibition of produced drawings and paintings will be held at the Cristal Hall of the Sobranie.

According to the programme, a debate with participation of persons with impaired mobility will be organized by the National Democratic Institute NDI and the Parlieamentary Office for Contacts between NGOs and the Sobranie.

The Manifestation ended last weekend, with a session of the Balkan Youth Parliament and the final match of the football tournament.
