Invitation for NGOs to Present Themselves at EXIT 06

The EXIT Festival again invites the non-governmental organizations from Southeast Europe (Croatia, B&H, Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro) to present themselves to the visitorst of the EXIT 06 Festival (July 6-9, Petrovaradin Fortress, Novi Sad).

This year, EXIT managed to secure more available space for NGO presentations, so that the organizations may apply for the “PLACE TO MOVE!” NGO Fair, on the Agora or in the camp. Between 60 and 80 organizations will be selected, depending on the available logistics and capacities. As in previous years, the Citizens Pact for SEE will organize the NGO part of the Festival.

The manner and extent to which an organization is involved in the main topics of this year’s EXIT will be the chief criteria for selection. The topics include the liberalization of visa regimes; antidiscrimination; youth employment; and culture as a tool for social change. This doesn’t mean that other organizations won’t be accepted, but the preference will be given to organizations that are involved in these topics.

The organizers will provide the selected organizations with the basic working conditions and the necessary credentials. The applications (attached to this article) should be sent to office@citizenspact.org.yu. The deadlne for application expires on May 24, 2006.
