Action on 20th Anniversary of Chernobyl Disaster
The action is accompanied by conference for the media, to announce the start the signing of the European Petition Against Nuclear Energy. The Action takes place under the auspices of the Million Europeans Against Nuclear Energy campaign, which aims to stop the construction of new power plants and gradual closing of the already existing nuclear power-plants in the EU. It also aims to redirect the development funds towards programmes for energy efficiency and use of renewable energy. |
