Kosova Art Gallery Remains Firm in Demands for “Union” Building
The leadership of the Kosova Art Gallery (GAK) as a continuity of its requirement for the right over the building of former hotel “Union” which is located in the downtown of Kosova’s capital, yesterday (Monday) has placed a four meters cloth transparent with the text of the Regulation No.2003/13 - On the Transformation of the Right of Use to Socially Owned Immovable Property.
The transparent was placed as a reaction to the declaration of Kosovo Prime Minister, Bajram Kosumi, according to which, “there is no legal basis to halt the privatization process of this hotel” and precisely a day before the upcoming meeting of Kosovo Government. According to Luan Mulliqi, GAK Director, “this is a response to executives that says that this building cannot remain to culture, since there is no legal basis for doing so”. |
