Children's Alliance and CRCA Organise 'Sports For Integration'
|
The Albanian Children's Alliance (Tirana Region) and CRCA Children's Club Against Child Labour, under the framework of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the plan of activities of both NGO's, organised a football match with children and pupils of School 'Dhora Leka' in Tirana.
The players were child labourers, children at risk and children from marginalised groups of society attending the CRCA Children's Club in a suburb area of Tirana. The aim of the football match aimed to strengthen the social life of children who work by playing with other peers who attend the school, as a tool to exercise their right to play and to socialise with other children. At the start of the foot match children participated in a small meeting organised in the premises of Children's Club, where they met with other children to discuss together and received informing materials on children's rights by their peers. The activity was largely facilitated by the staff of CRCA Children's Club, which operates under the Programme 'Stop Child Labour in Albania'. |
