Student form Pelagonija Dormitory are not Happy with SSUKM

A group of students, accommodated at the �Pelagonija� State Dormitory, accused the Students Union of the �Ss. Cyril and Method� University (SSUKM) of failure to complete the procedures for election of members of the Student Tenants Council for the dormitory. They complain that SSUKM just makes empty promises of imminent elections.

"There were no elections for the Tenants Council at �Pelagonija� for two years in a row, which is a clear violation of the students� right to express their opinion and their voting rights�, said Marjan Jovanovski, representatives of the group of disgruntled students.

Jovanovski added that, in spite of the fact that the students at Pelagonija regularly pay the 250 Denar fee charged for organization of cultural and entertainment activities, they haven�t seen anything of the kind for three years.

The students from Pelagonija Dorm doubt that the money donated for the construction of a new dormitory will go to the right place, having in mind the SSUKM, they say, is not interested about the well-being of the students at all.
