The billboards with the propeller logo and Europe Now slogan were raised all over Macedonia, on the same day the Summit of EU Leaders started in Brussels, which is expected to adopt a decistion to grant Macedonia status of candidate for EU Membership.
The propeller and the slogan send a clear message – Macedonia to Europe, through the synergy of several small “sails” connected together in a unit. Several thousands of small paper propellers are now held by citizens that visited the recently closed NGO Fair in Skopje.
„Europe Now” is a campaign implemented by FOSIM Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia, as a continuation of teh “Europe: Now or Never” campaign, with the goal to support Macedonian integration into the EU. The campaign, in addition to the billboards (located in Skopje, Prilep, Stip, Ohrid, Tetovo, Kumanovo and on the highway to Serbia) and the paper propellers, the campaign includes greeting cards, t-shirts and other propaganda material.
