OneWorld Platform for Southeast Europe Foundation announced a job opening for the position of OWPSEE Network Coordinator. The deadline for application expires on December 31, 2005.

Title of position: OWPSEE Networking Coordinator

Based at: Central Eastern Europe (CEE)

Reporting Line: Reports to the Executive Director

Overall purpose of the position: Sets up, promotes, and grows the owpsee network, develops owpsee networking policy, maintains liaisons with members, other networks and partners, and manages the activities of the network.

Duration: one year; full-time position (90 days/3 months probation time)

Key Responsibility and Accountability (KRA)

KRA 1: Develop networking strategy for owpsee
KRA 2: Create and animate common public spaces
KRA 3: Support owsee portals partners for the whole SEE region
KRA 4: Support editors in partnership matters (recruitment and management)
KRA 5: Promote and represent the owpsee network
KRA 6: Coordinate partnership management for the whole region
KRA 7: Interface with OW Network on networking and partnership issues

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION

Ability to use Linux operating system and open source applications (i.e., open office, Mozilla suite)
Ability to fully use internet tools as a working platform (online chat, intranet, voip applications, and content management system)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Planning and organisational skills
Financial management experience
Attention to detail, quality and accuracy
Professional and ethical approach to work
Communication and interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm, commitment and motivation
Ability to work in a team
Dedication and willingness to travel occasionally
Flexible working time
