New Publication on Employment and Labour Disputes

The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Macedonian Office promoted the �Employment: Comparative Overview of Length of Employment and Labour Disputes� publication yesterday at the NGO InfoCentre.

The publication was prepared in cooperation with the �European Trade Union Institute � Research, Education, Health and Safety�, at the initiative of the Association of Trade Unions of Macedonia (SSM).

Stefan Dehnert, Director of FES Macedonia opened the book-launch, while professor Gzime Starova talked about the importance of this publication. Starova edited and selected the texts included in the publication. Jursid Rifat, SSM Secretary also talked about the publication.

The publication offers three different analyses of the EU directions prepared by the Brussels-based European Trade Union Institute, reviewing important issues of employment and EU legislation, which were not available in Macedonian language in the past.
