Test-Census Launched in Six Municipalities in Kosovo

The Ministry of Public Services will official launch the Test-Census of Population and Households today, October 31, in six Kosovo municipalities: Pristina, Prizren, Gjilan, Kacanik, Skenderaj and Novo Brdo.

The main objective of the Test Census, according to Melihate Termkolli, Minister of Public Services, is to test the data-gathering instruments and their functioning, and to detect the eventual deficiencies of procedure that need to be eliminated before the start of the general Census.

T�rmkolli visited the six municipalities a few days ago, to get information on the preparations of the Census Procedure. She expressed her satisfaction with the job done by the municipal authorities.

The Test Census of Population shall proceed in November of this Year, and its results are considered crucial for the success of the General Census.
