First Employment Fair Held Yesterday

The First Employment Fair of the Canton of Sarajevo was held yesterday at the �Skenderija� congress and sports centre. The Fair was organized by the B&H Labour and Employment Agency, the Government of Canton Sarajevo and the Employment Bureau of the Canton.

A total of 26 companies participated in the Fair, interested to employ young and educated people. This is the first such initiative in the Canton, and the organizers emphasized their satisfaction with the response by the job-seeking youth, but also with the number of companies that appeared.

Lawyers and economists were the most sought professions, but the Fair presented an opportunity to other vocations, such as information sciences engineers, architects, engineers, managers, etc.

The organizers announced that this practice of gathering together the employers and job-seekers will continue in the future.
