Leave a Mark of Your Success Public Debates

The TANGO Ngo, under its “Corporate Social Responsibility” Project, financed by the WorldBank Office in Belgrade, held two public debates under the title “Leave a Mark of Your Success”, as well as five trainings on the same subject.

The debates and trainings had the goal to introduce the participants to the basic dimensions of the concept of corporate responsibility, the good practices of socially responsible action of companies in Serbia and the region. The participants had the opportunity to identify the challenges faced by the development of social responsibility in Kragujevac and Sumadija Region.

All relevant institutions in Kragujevac took part in the debates and used the opportunity to exchange experiences related to the necessity of socially responsible action by the companies and enterprises, which was the first opportunity to review the concept and its implementation from all sides.

The corporate social responsibility, in general, refers to the ethical conduct of enterprises and organizations and their contribution towards social development through respect for the people, community and environment. Therefore, the goal of this project is to introduce the concept of corporate responsibility to the leaders in community development, i.e. the representatives of private, governmental and NGO sector in Kragujevac.
