Fatos Bytyci Elected New President of AGPK

Fatos Bytyci, RTK journalist, is elected the new president of Association of Professional Journalists of Kosova (AGPK), by the Second Annual Assembly of the AGPK, held on Sunday in Prishtina.
During its mandate as president, Bytyci promised that he will work harder to ensure better working conditions for all journalists. “We will work for journalists’ interest, to protect them better, and once and for all to stop the violence against journalists, cameramen, photo reporters, whether it is violence of the government or police”, he declared. Bytyci was one of the thirteen proposed candidates from this Assembly for seven Board members. Other members of AGPK’s Board were elected also: Lindita Camaj, Syzana Bytyçi, Ibrahim Rexhepi, Astrit Gashi, Berat Buzhala and Arton Mustafa. Association of Professional Journalists of Kosova, founded in 2002, is a non for profit organization, which is committed to increase professionalism of journalists and Kosovar media. |
