The main goal of the action was to promote the use of alternative transport to the workplaces, schools and other places, urging the citizens to ride a bike, walk on foot, use public transportation and other possibilities designed to reduce the pollution of the environment.

In addition to a poster and billboard campaign, leaflets presenting the benefits of taking a bicycle ride to work were distributed throughout the city.

The participants started from the square in front of the Municipality Building. The procession of bikers, in addition to Minister Xhuveli, was joined by Mayor Artan Haxhi, OSCE representatives and environmental NGO activists.
