Anti-Mafia Caravan 2005 Visits Prijedor

�Fighting Organized Crime and Education on Legislation� event, a part of the international �Anti-Mafia� campaign, visits Prijedor today, September 26.

The caravan, established in 1994 on Sicily, Italy, is focused on the phenomenon of Mafia and implements activities directed agains organized crime, with the intent to offer an alternative in communities and environments used by organized crime for recruitment of new members. Starting this year, the Caravan expanded outside Italy and, after it visited Serbia and Montenegro and Albania, it comes to B&H.

Under the auspices of the B&H Campaign, the Caravan will present its activities in Prijedor, on Major Zoran Kralica Square. Also, a presentation of �Fighting Organized Crime and Education on Legislation� discussion will be held at Prijedor Theatre, starting at 11:00 hours.

The organizers invited high-school students, NGOs, the youth and the general public to visit the presentations, organized and promoted by the Local Democracy Agency Prijedor, in cooreration with Prijedor secondary schools and Transparency International B&H.
