Films by B&H Students for Torino Short Features Festival

A festival of short feature films will be held under the auspices of the 20th Winter Olympic Games in Turin, Italy. Eight films from Bosnia and Herzegovina are also expected to be shown in the Festival.

B&H students will send eight short feature films to the Festival in Turin, 2006

A number of films from Banja Luka, Mostar and Sarajevo have applied in the call for submission of films, and the four-member jury will decide which eight films will represent B&H at the WOG.

The Academy of Arts from Banja Luka decided to submit five films to the competition on the required subject �Conflict, Resolution, Solution�.

The selected films will be translated into Italian and shown in Turin during the Olympic Games. The awards ceremony for Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held in Sarajevo, October 25, in the presence of Italian Ambassador to B&H, the President of the Italian Olympic Committee and the Mayor of Turin.
