CDHRF Accuses Kosovo Leaders of Neglecting the Issue of Missing Persons

Six years after the end of the war, over 450 persons are still considered missing in the Prizren region, announced the Council for Defense of Human Rights and Freedoms (CDHRF).

Bashkim Kajdomcaj, CDHRF Regional Coordinator told KosovaLive that the regions of Hasi and Anadrini were mostly affected by the war.

“Many residents of these areas are still missing,” said Kajdomcaj.

CDHRF accused central and municipal institutions of negligence on this issue.

“Both central and municipal institutions did not do anything in this direction. They have not put this issue in the top of their agenda, whereas the impatience of the families of missing persons is increasing more and more,” said Kajdomcaj.
