“Lady Zee" Wins SFF 2005
Bulgarian feature film “Lady Zee”, directed by Georgi Djulgerov, won the “Heart of Sarajevo”, Grand Prix Award of the competition segment of this year’s Sarajevo Film Festival. The prize of 25,000 EUR was secured by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The Best Leading Actress award was won by Zrinka Cvitesic from Croatia, for her role in “What Is a Man Without Mustache?”, while the Best Leading Actor went to Slovenian Peter Musevski, for his role in “Work Liberates”. The Special Jury made of Alexander Payne, Film Director; Silvana Medjusic, Croatian journalist; and Aleksandar Hemon, B&H writer; decided to present the Best Short Feature Film Award to the Hungarian film “Before Dawn”, by Balint Kenyeres.
