ICS Engages in Migration Prevention in Sharr Municipality

The Italian Consortium for Solidarity is engaged in several concrete projects for prevention of immigration or young people in Sharr municipality, said ICS officials on Wednesday, August 24.

Marco Bruccoleri, ICS Coordinator for Kosovo, said that the most serious project ICS has implemented in Sharr deals with the problems of return of IDPs.

�We procured the necessary material for reconstruction of 28 houses in three villages of Gora, aiming to create the conditions for return of displaced families and remaining of the rest�, said Bruccoleri.

He added that efforts are being made for this municipality to get assistance from other centres in Italy, such as Padua, Bologna, etc. ICS has already established the initial contacts with the local administrations of these cities, and hopes that the results of those efforts will be felt by the citizens of Sharr as soon as possible.
