“Resist, Say No” Civic Action Part of the Legal Team of Telecom Subscribers

The Court of First Jurisdiction “Skopje 2” decided that the “Resist, Say No” civic action can join the legal team of the subscribers involved in litigations with Macedonia Telecommunications Ltd. At the moment, over one hundred lawsuits started by Macedonian Telecommunications against hundreds of subscribers that haven’t paid their phone bills for over a year. The Civic Action expects to appear as a party in other consumer rights related lawsuits in Macedonia. It announced a series of counter-lawsuits against the Telecommunications because it believes that the users of phone services did invest in the company’s infrastructure and the lawsuits are legally void.
