The Humanitarian Association of Single Mothers (HANSM) from Ohrid, Macedonia, recently released its Report on ICT in Macedonia, covering the period 2003-2004.
In the world today, the possession of computer technologies is essential in the daily life. The number of fixed telephones, mobile telephones, cable and satellite TV programs is constantly increasing, followed closely behind by the computers.
The Republic of Macedonia accepts new technologies en masse. But, in terms of communication-technology, the citizens of Republic of Macedonia remain rather ‘poor’, states the Report.
