eAdministration Perspectives

On Monday, June 27, the EXIT Centre organized the first of the three seminars on the subject of electronic administration, titled “eAdministration Perspective” in Banja Luka.
The main goal of the seminar was to inform the participants about the adopted strategy for introduction of electronic administration in B&H, the successful practices in this area, as well as examples of eAdministration application in the countries of the EU. Prominent experts and lecturers informed the participants in the seminar about the local and regional potentials for introduction of electronic administration, but also with the past experiences of developed European countries. Representatives of 20 municipalities from the Northwest Bosnia and Herzegovina, Governments of RS and BH Federation, European Commission Delegation and other relevant institutions took part in the seminar. The participants supported the promotion of new models for operation of local, regional and national authorities, and demonstrated their interest in the future seminars. The EXIT Centre plans to organize additional six seminars and six workshops on information technologies by the end of 2005. These seminars are designed to promote and educate the public about the development and possibilities of the eSector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. |
