Association of Young Journalists of Montenegro The Association of Young Journalists of Montenegro (AMNCG) is an non-governmental, professional organisation established in January 2000 in Podgorica. AMNCG is working on improvement of journalist standards and freedoms. Association of the independent electronic media of Montenegro The Association of Independent Electronic Media of Montenegro was founded in 1999, with the rising need to connect the independent electronic media in Montenegro, as well as the need to improve the of professional standards in this area. The goal of the association is, among others, obtaining the higher level of objective informing in Montenegro Croatia Transparency International Croatia Transparency International Hrvatska works on the increased transparency of the work of government bodies and prevention of abuse of public competences vested in the public institutions for private purposes. Bosnia and Herzegovina Centre fro Free Access to Information (CSPI) The Center's mission is to promote the Freedom of Access to Information Act throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. It provides training, advice and free legal representation to those seeking information to resolve personal issues or to participate in the democratic process. Transparency International B&H Transparency International Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BIH) is a country chapter of the Transparency International. TI BIH was founded on 23 February 2001, following the first meeting of NGO sector in BiH in December 2000. The chapter become fully accredited by the Transparency International Secretariat on 12 October 2002, and so far is the only chapter with that status in the Western Balkans. Macedonia Media Development Center Media Development Center is devoted to the goal of creating sustainable, democratic environment for further development of the media and the civil society as a whole. MDC is involved in the process of preparation and adoption of the Law on Free Access to Information in Macedonia. Association of Local Self-Government Unit ZELS ZELS is currently involved in a campaign for introduction of free access to information provisions in the municipal statutes in Macedonia. Eko net The mission of the Center for electronic communication - Eko.Net is promotion of the Internet as a way for a fast and efficient communication between the environmental NGOs, and all of the interested citizens and institutions. Arhuus Family in the Republic of Macedonia Association for Democratic Initiatives Serbia Coalition for Free Access to Information The Coalition was established by 13 Serbian NGOs, with the goal to promote the implementation of the Law on Access to Information. Transparency International Serbia Transparency Serbia is non- partisan, non-governmental and non-for profit voluntary organization established with the aim of curbing corruption in Serbia. Kosovo Temporary Media Commissioner The Temporary Media Commissioner (TMC) is an independent regulatory agency that promotes ethical and technical standards among Kosovo’s media. It applies a body of regulations that hold local broadcasters and news publishers to European standards of professionalism and fairness in their news coverage. Through the administration of its broadcast frequency plan, the TMC also strives to maintain fairness in competition among media outlets. The TMC’s activities include monitoring media coverage of current events, commenting on media-related legislation, evaluating complaints, and enforcing its regulations and the terms of its licenses.
