The Festival will end on June 16 and will be held at the Sports and Cultural Centre “Skenderija”. The children that will participate in the festival will again, like last year, arrive from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina by bus or train.

In addition to the large number of educational and entertaining workshops, the children will have the opportunity to see the latest films for children, many of which will see their global premiere in Sarajevo.

Under the auspices of the educational segment of the Festival, the children will participate in OSCE organized workshops that promote human rights and protection of children. Another workshop, organized by UNICEF and SOS Kinderdorf, will discuss the problems of the youth today.

In addition to the B&H media, this year’s Festival will have international media partners, Disney Channel TV and ARTE.

The official opening of the Kid’s Festival will take place today, at 14:00 hours, on the plateau in front of Skenderija. On the first day, the Festival will host children from 16 cities and towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
